I thought I should update seeing how I am a little farther along.
6.0l / 4l80e / atlas 4 speed / Dana 60 front (80 dodge) Eaton locker, chromoly 35 spline outers with drive flanges / 14 bolt rear, shaved, Detroit locker. Gears need to be updated next, but currently running 4.10s. Front leafs are chevy 52s, Rear leafs are Chevy 63s. military double bead lock wheels (16.5) With some worn in 38.5x14.5 TSL SX's. Would like to update the tires, I love the wheels.

Not in the desert. I just moved over from Roslyn Wa (in the cascades) which had lots of wheeling areas. I think I am going to explore the blue mountains. You do any snow wheeling?
