my new rig

I was given a 1952 Ford f200 converted into a tow truck. The old guy who owned this hated fords so he pulled out the engin an running gear an dropped in a hot rodded Chevy 327 hooked to an sm420 transmission with pto out put an a full floating 3/4 tun worm drive rear axle. It use to have exhaust stacks but sitting over 20 years somebidy swiped them

It takes some tallent to drive seeing as how my left hand is broken an I have a cast up past my elbo an the truck has no power steering an its a stick.
 
O yeah an no brakes exept the emargency hand brake :yikes: hahaha this rig requiers trainned professionals only:ihih::icon_rolleyes:


I needa bleed the brake lines
 
Does anyone know the step procces for getting historical plates plates for this old commercail vehical. My uncle said that with histrical plates my inshurance will be cheaper than anything else witch would be great for me .:icon_confused::idea:

I actually already picked up a sm465 mated to a dana18 so now I just need a small block Chevy motor.(and exhaust and whatever else I will need to hook it up)

Sorry dude:nonod: but I love my 327 that thing goes. I mean its hasnt ran for over 20 years an all I had to do was slap on a carb clean the plugs an new guts in the distributor an that thing fired up.:ihih:.

This trucks stayn as is. Im tryn to get it on the road

Scout is getting tottaled. The orange Scout in these pictures is my new 1973 Scout from Nevada. I found some identical picture of what it will look like in the near by feature:ihih: bigger better an orange!
