My guess 2245...

Can anyone confirm whether or not I'm correct, is this carb a 2245? I looked at the pics in the 22xx thread multiple times and came to this conclusion, however, that 2210c is very similar looking. Is 2245 the part number? If not what is the list/part number? Thanks....also, where do I find a rebuild kit for it? Sorry for all the questions, the last car I had that I could actually work on was fuel injected

The 4878nnc91 stamped on your carb is the IH part number.

2210, 2210c and 2245 are Holley carb "type" numbers.

The Holley list number (usually used to determine which rebuild kit is needed) is the stamped numbers above the IH part number, but I cannot read the number. (in carb2.jpg)

if you (re)read the first 2 - 3 screen pages (or more) of this thread, there is info about the differences between 2210 and 2245 carbs and different carb rebuild kits for these carbs.

Robert thank you for the info and I re-read quite a few more pages than you suggested and I'm still standing by 2245.

When I search Holley's website to include their reman site I come up with nothing on any of the numbers; I'll post them so maybe you or someone else can punch me in the forehead and tell me what I have:

8241 a
487857-c91
0198

on the bottom is a casted number of:

6r5530b

and those are the only numbers I see.
