The last mud racing event of the season will be held oct. 10-11 in astoria, oregon.

The wife is pregnant so she said I could drive her Scout in her place. I have wanted to race it since I built it, so here is my chance.

Congrats on the pregnancy!!! Your fault I hope at least in 8 to 9 months from now it will defenatly be your fault. Are you sure you can handle that pink Scout?

Racing starts at 7:30 pm Friday, oct. 10 at the clatsop county fairground, it runs for 2 nights. This event is a little different than what we are used to. It is not a side by side drag race, instead you are timed as you go down the track. I would much rather drag against another vehicle.

If I get lil' pink Scout back together on time then we will be there.

Got good info regarding the fan sitch for ya today at brooks, I'll email to ya tomorrow, just got home and I got tha fambly unit hollerin' in both my dead ears!

Thanks Mike. Last night I messed around with a 1" spacer and borrowed fan for mock up. That May be the ticket. If I eliminate the hood hinges and move the radiator in front of the core support it May work out.
