MPFI in Cali

This has prolly been kicked to death, but...

Has IH only tried to get a c.a.r.b. Certification for the mpfi upgrade? It sure would be nice if I could do the upgrade on my 76 and still smog it.

C.a.r b. Certificates are more engineering paperwork to verify emissions. Affordable fuel injection will be working on carb certificates in the near future. Since the CPT intake has provisions for egr it is possible and will be part of the process.
