Planning on swapping a 345 from a 75 pickup to a 66 Travelall.
Need to replace the real main seal, planning on cleaning it off, changing gaskets and freeze plugs.
Is there anything else I should do while I have the motor pulled?
 
Probably should double check that the 75 block is drilled and tapped for the 66 motor mounts.

The 74 - 75 used a different front motor mount from the 69 - 73 and I do not know about the earlier ones - 68 and older.
 
I would pull the valve covers off and check to make sure the rockers are oiling correctly.

You probably need to replace the valve cover gaskets anyway.
