MLK Day at Hollister

Sorry you couldn't make it, but it was still a great day to take off. Was about 70-75 sunny and dry. Don't know his name but the guy with the big grey fordyce truck that's in the first picture from the rallye with his tire up on the giant fire engine things wheel was there with one of his buddys, and they put on quite a show up at the new upper obstacle course. Well worth the gas money just to see that thing in action. Very impressive and definitely a bonus for the day. Got some good pics, have to figure out how to upload them.

Ok, think I got it click on my profile pic and that should take you to a place where you can view a hollister album with lots of pics from one section of the obstacle coarse. The winch was used to pull the body down to the axle to level out the body and get more weight to the drivers side - believe there was a rock kind of sticking into the roll cage around the passanger door hanging things up.

Sorry I have not posted up any pics yet. I have been in bed since Monday with the flu. We had a great time down there. Spent the day looking around on the mtn. I had a lot of fun going up the "hill climb" and we also enjoyed watching a couple fellas on the man made course with huge scouts.

One of the pics is of my buddie hanks stock 47willies. He drives this thing like a cat and jumps around from rock to rock. This time his back wheel dipped and he went over. All was not lost. His top end got a nice oil bath and I got to use my winch for the second time. (weird, both times its been to stand this bad boy back on all 4)
