Mike keep us informed and I hope everything goes well. She is in a top notch facility and they have a great reputation. Even though I am not doing the work on her myself I know they will do just as good a job. :gringrin: :gringrin: :gringrin:

She's sukkin' in more blood today continuing her halloween exploits likea vampire.

Major anemia is being pointed at right now but until the red stuff gits thicker, they won't do much more testing.

This place izza world class resort, I'm on a wireless connection right now, all rooms are private.

Hell offa way ta git a vacashun, but the company scruud her over on goin' down to the ralley and ihon, so this is payback for the corporate suits...now they git to cover the clients and really scruu shit up!

Prolly two more days here, we're both gittin' spoiled!

Mike it sounds like things are better down there. Did the mention anything about an elevated troponin level? Take care your in good hands.
 
Hey, Mike, found out today from carl about this. Sorry to hear about it, but it sounds like it's not as serious as you first thought, but serious enough. Somehow, I don't think kathy would consider this a vacation. Linda and I will keep the two of you in our thoughts and prayers. Keep us updated and let us know if there is anything we can help with.

I just stumbled on this thread tonight. Although we have never met, nor do I know much about your life, nonetheless your many kindnesses to me would seem unappreciated were I not to echo the sentiments of those who know you and your wife well.

I don't know if you are religious, but I send along to you the wonderful sentiment of matthew's gospel: don't worry. Look how god takes care of the critters. He loves you and your wife much more than these.

Thanks again to all of ya for your concern!

Momma came home yesterday evening, we even stopped and ate at one of our favorite grub joints (yes it was "kinda" healthy!).

She'll start in with the cardio-dudes middle of next week for a full workup, same folks that fixed me up. There is still some concern that the severe anemia May have had some trickledown. And the tests were inconclusive on where her tranny fluid is leaking from so more work will be done on that.

For monte, the multiple tropo tests didn't show up anything so that was good, but there are some other markers that still leave some questions to be addressed.

Lou and anna...when yawl come up I'll make sure ya gitta riverbend tour

so goldie...can ya believe that place???? I thought the former/current peace health facility downtown was superb, but riverbend sets the standard for all others to follow. And the personnel dam sure know the meaning of customer service!

Good news!!!

Thanks for that, shannon is unfortunately fading very fast. She is all but bed ridden at this point and I have had to engage hospice care for her as it is just too much for me to handle at this point on my own. At this point we are just trying to make her as comfortable as possible. Treatment is no longer in the cards.

it's been almost a week. How about an update? I know she was headed for some tests; probably too soon for results, but the two of you are still on our minds.

Bizee week!

Momma's doin' fine. On Thursday and Friday she did all them cardio-tests that monte knows the big words for! She's still glowin' in the dark from the nook-test on Friday.

Won't know the results prolly until next Friday. She's got two other sawbone visits this coming week for followup also.

She hasn't been able to "communicate" since corporate locked her outta her computer (it's an insurance company disability deal) but they'll get it back up (but no corporate vpn access) on Monday so she can access her email, once that's done she can copy over all her personal stuff onto one of our other machines.

I will say this...Todd, dave and me got chikinfry steak, blackeye peas, and smashtaters for dindin last nite, so that is real progress!

all that stuff about kathy's home cookin has got me hungry. :winky:
