mercedes 5 cyl in a scout 800

I just got a 67 Scout - with the 152. I am considering putting a mb 5 cyl diesel in her...the 4 is just too weak.
Has anyone ever done that if you know...first...will it "fit"...and then there will be more questions to follow..its now a stick and that works just fine.

If the 152 i4 is *too weak* for your liking, you might want to consider installing a 196 i4 with an aftermarket carburetor.
