Hey all,
my truck is tucked away for the winter.
I have a 33 gallon tank, sump style fuel filter, stainless ball valve then my mechanical fuel pump on the engine.
Do you think I will do any damage to the pump if I shut off the
ball valve and turn the engine over?
The pump has about 3k miles on it.
I'd like to turn the truck over every few weeks to keep my bearings lubed and not dump fuel into the cylinders.
I'm paranoid about dry-starting the engine as I have had cam/cam bearing issues in a previous motor. The truck will be away 'til at least April if not May.
Thanks.
