If so -- you wanna haul anything up for me??

I think you are up to a couple axles and a tranny! If you don't have room - no biggie -- I'll just have to schedule a day and drive down and get them myself.

Thanks!!

Also -- if you have room, do you want to take a couple Scout 727's home with you for cores/donation to the mayben parts stash?

Let me know as I need to pull one of the trannies if you want it...

Thanks again!!!

That tranny from monte is hanging on the hoist now, I'll pop it open tomorrow and see what I can see! Should be no problema in making it nice.

As for delivering tha guuds...we're gonna be dragging the house up to the wiese rv park for the xmas shindig. So gittin' two dawgs, two axles, and a tranny in the back of the beater would be a problem!

But I might be able to make it happen next week sumtime. Momma's goin' ta pdx for gobbler day so I'll be around and free ta play anytime. Plan is to finish off many loose ends next week on many projects! The last of the leaf fall will be handled today!

Mike, if you are up this way on turkey day, dinner is at 5:00. Turkey from the traeger is not something you have ever tasted before. You will never eat chupacabra again. :icon_eek:

I will be out of town the the week of thanksgiving from wed. Morning until Saturday night....

Maybe we can work out some middle man drop off point??

I'll be heading back up to beaverton from maybenville on Saturday after thanksgiving - I could be talked into hauling a tranny or 2 in the back of my Scout

That might be perfect Matt!

We can load into the small utility trailer you used before and I'll tarp tha schnizz ta keep tha slugs out. Can ya park the trailer at your place until chris could come get it at his leisure??? Then I can recover it from him later. It's time ta make yawl's new digs look like a boneyard like the rest of us! Impresses hail outta the neighbors!

Chris might be able to use the utility trailer anyway around his place for awhile?

Once we get through with your ride on satidy, Todd and I are gonna lift the body off the f150/f250 hybrid highboy and store it on that tandem trailer I got from neighbormike while he looks for a new home for it.

Thanks for the invite monte!

Look's like me an gearman are gonna do a turkeeday potluck witha six pack of swanson's teevee turkeedinners, just like our college days! Only we do the hungry man versions now!

But I plan ta do yore special recipt turkee on tha smoker when I've got better company for dindin, don't wanna waste that schnizz on dave!

You can waste it on me.

I can pull the trailer up here, as long as chris promises to come get it soon! Like within a week if possible. Momma don't do the boneyard look, and if I'm gonna' burn through some of my good-husband points I'd like it to be for my own projects!

No problem. I cn swing by afterwork and grab it right away...

Now the only problem will be it sitting at my place for too long

This will work just fine!

I'll come pick up the trailer just as soon as ya get unloaded chris, it's stays pretty much in constant use around here by somebody.

The utility trailer is 2" ball.

The base wiring is "flat four". That is plugged into a flat seven rv plug adapter so it will go either way.

There are extra trailer connector adapters in the tongue box along witha ton of tiedowns, ratchet straps, etc.

Last time I loaned it out, the neighbor drove off with the landing gear down and ripped it off the frame. I've "fixed" it best I can but the large snap ring which retains it is damaged and I haven't picked up a new one. So you will see a pair of vise grips clamped on to make sure it stays in place when moving around on the landing gear and also to lock the gear up when it's folded for towing.

It'sa 3500lb. Capacity but I carry a pallet of windsor block on it quite often which comes in at 5200lb. Usually. Just gotta center the load on the axle.

I just got home, picked up a set of new d44 spindle nuts and locktab washers from archer bros. I'll just thread those on to retain the hubs but won't set the preload or bend the tabs since you will be servicing the axle anyway.

I'll complete the tranny tomorrow, all looks good inside and the bands were not too loose though they both needed attention! The whole tranny will have a satin black rattlecan paint job thrown on so it "looks" like an aamco rebuilt. The output shaft seals will be new (I just found a really kool double lip seal to use for one of 'em!). You'll need to swap the input gear from the pullout tranny to this one. I've also made ya a proper gasket to mate the transfer case to the adapter housing...use no rtv anywhere near this rig! A contact-type adhesive to hold the gasket in place is ok. It's gittin' a drain plug in the pan also.
