Your post said you won’t make dinner on Tuesday. Never expected you to show. Waaay too far. I’m amazed that we sometimes get guys from tracy and richmond to join us. Longest traveler on a regular basis is mocha and he lives in concord.
Consider this. Like scooter and vance, “host” a dinner / pizza party at a local restaurant that other car and 4x4 clubs use. I would consider having 3-4 locals to show up for the initial meet a success. If it’s on a Saturday, I probably will come up. I might even talk a few others into commuting with me.
With a little marketing, you can raise awareness in the area. Flyers for parts stores, local newspaper, 4x4 clubs, etc. When ihon ships something in the nor cal area, one of our business cards is included. The key is to draw someone into the forum.
Don’t think that every IH owner knows about ihon, babs, Sierra Fall Rallye, etc. A good percentage don’t. I found that out doing announcement posts on craigslist.
