Machine Shop recommendations wanted

Hi,

I just recently moved to the van nuys area of los angeles. And now I'm looking for a machine shop who can/will do small jobs such as miscellaneous parts modifications, drilling holes, making brackets, etc. Does anybody have a recommendation for such a place here in the van nuys area of los angeles? This area is loaded with auto parts stores, body shops, etc. But I am looking for a small professional basic machine shop that can modify parts or fabricate simple things that I draw up.

Thanks. I found a machine shop near me that does excellent work very inexpensively (for a machine shop). However, I never knew anything about scoutswest - thanks for that tip.
