LS1 shifting issues

Hi my name is Steve and I have a 70 scout with an LS1 motor and digital Dakota box.


I did a bone head move and cleaned the engine last week...checked coils and plus..dryed all off..no issues. Replaced the dakota box today but the car is not shifting gears well.

Ran perfectly before. I have no idea about this set up and the car was running fantastic before.

Any guidance would be truly appreciated as I am trying to sell the car.

I moved your thread to a more appropriate category. You say it isn't shifting properly, but you failed to mention what transmission model is in the vehicle. Forgive my ignorance, but isn't the Dakota Digital just an aftermarket instrument panel for digital readout gauges? I'm not seeing how that would factor into the shifting problem.
