Lift gate T handle how to

Hey IH Parts America,
I looking for some help with a t handle on the lift gate. I nerve see a working one so I am not 100% how it should work. If anyone has some install photos that they can post that would be great. I really think I am my just miss some parts to make it all work.

We need to see pics of what you have now for the lift hatch handle/latch set, that way we can make a recommendation.

I work on these quite often at my location, the latching mechanisms are very prone to corrosion, and when forced,...various conditions arise. We have new latching mechanisms available on the shelf if yours is corroded beyond use or the small spring is missing. The end latches and tubes can be removed and cleaned nicely with a rotary wire brush.

Once the latch system is cleaned and lubricated, it will work like new. Just takes some patience in cleaning the rot or replace the latch with new.
 
Quick! Get an extinguisher! Dude...yer Scout's on faaaar!!! That's real purdy man. Do you have to wear an asbestos suit when you drive it? Sorry for the hijack.
