kwikwire question.

I have the 14 circuit kwikwire harness. I have 727. The back up lights r on the same circuit as the wipers and washer,it also says to hook the electric choke to the wiper keyed hot lead. My problem is if I disconnect the back up lights from the tranny the fuse doesnt blow. If I hook it back up it blows the fuse when I shift through the gears. Does this make sense to any 1

Sure it does!

Any of the aftermarket wiring systems are based upon "GM" wiring systems spread over about 30+ years worth of duty.

The ihc stuff uses "some" gmc, "some" ihc, and "some" chrysler wiring systems. So they don't get wired like a "GM" product, they get wired like an ihc product!!! We've been through this same thing time and again.

About 80% of that wiring system will work out ok based upon the specifications included, the rest is going to be trial and error.

This is exactly why you need the oem schematic to use. Every vehicle has a different wiring scheme for the "nss" and back-up lamps, ihc used the same thing as most all auto-trans chrysler products.
