We had a good time. Joe & stacy with family, Mike and his daughter, randy, and myself. Dave jr showed up later in the day too.
Since this was stacy's first trip sprung over.

Mike giving stacy some pointers on how to drive.

And stacy finding out what it means to have open diffs and 31" tires

Unfortunately I didn't snap any pics of randy resting/driving on his side, or the fiasco with stacy blowing a bead at the exact same spot sean fried his starter. It took at least as long getting stacy out as it took to get sean. Here are a couple more pictures of the "improved" mini-rubicon.

And the broken hub.

And then after my first ever front dig. Gotta love the twin sticks :d and I made it across with minimal body damage. Just enough to remind me of the day. Gotta have a souvenir!

The axle is fine:mad2: I think the hub just wasn't engaging:lol:

real fun weekend. I didn't take any pics.
We had to reseat obs's bead with some starter fluid, stand back I'm a trained professional:lol:

and the dusk/night run was very interesting:yikes:

I wish I had taken a video of you trying to get out of the jungle with your front driveshaft dangling. It was... Amusing.

It was pretty cool watching pete do his front dig side crossing the mini rubicon. Solved all kinds of problems and saved lots of body damage. I've got mostly photo's of stacy. When I got sideways in the jungle I guess I just forgot I was 4 wheelin. Been through the jungle at least 4 times before this and have seen other rigs in the same position and wondered how they got there.

Crap. Looks like I have to relearn how to post photo's. New camera, new software

It made it through. Took a team effort with Mike telling stacy which line to drive, and then just dealing with stacy's open diffs. Good times. I am sure stacy learned a lot. We only did the first two sections then after dealing with stacy's tire and Mike's busted u-joint we went back to camp for lunch.

Yeah thanks to Mike I saved alot of bodey damage:smile5: . I'd like to thank you guys for coming out and staying over night. I had alot of fun and learned alot as well.

I dont think im going to do a night run for a while:lol:

my next mods are a roll cage and rock sliders

Not a locker?

I wasnt paying attention and I drove my Scout off the edge of the trail into a tree. My passenger tire got wedged in between a root from the tree and the side of the hill. :mad2:

if it wasnt for that tree and root I would have rolled the truck down into the road 20 feet below me.:icon_mad:

it took mikes Scout,my dads Jeep, two winches,a tree and one snatch block to get me out.

Yep, safety stuff first. Things can go wrong in a heartbeat, huh?

Pete, that emoticon you used is probably exactly how stacy looked when it happened. Funny funny funny.

Glad you're ok and how did the Scout suffer any? Any yes, any photos?
