My new project finally made it home. It is a 1962 Scout with a small block 350 and a sm420 in it. I also have a shortened 44 and 60 that came with it. I plan to start working on it immediately!

looks like you have a great project to be workin on! Will be watchin!:winky:
Thanks! I will keep you guys posted on the progress. Today I put a radiator in it, and while filling it with water I found another problem. Water leaking from the block behind the motor mounts on both sides. I found the freeze plug pushed halfway out on the driver side of the block, and I assume the passenger side is the same. The po had straight water in the cooling system, and a few weeks ago where he lives it got down to freezing temps and thats when they probably came out. If it isnt raining this weekend I am going to jack up the motor to replace the freeze plugs, and install electric fans.

Sorry it has taken so long to update, I have been busy. So far I have rebuilt the master cylinder, installed braided brake lines, installed a new fuel pump, installed a temp radiator with electric fan, rebuilt the carb, installed water temp and oil pressure gauges. Yesterday I went into IH only and picked up a set of the extended shock towers kit, and some new tail lights. I will post more pics as the progress comes.

Oh, heres a pic to show whats to come......

Since my last post I have made a good amount of progress. I installed a new radiator with a custom radiator support, and made a custom electric fan setup. I replaced the master cylinder after the rebuild of the stock didnt work. Installed shims in front springs, installed the IH only extended shock towers up front and had a custom setup in the rear made. Insured and registered the Scout so I could go camping in ice house. Had a great time camping with minimal problems. Had a problem with the carb filter getting clogged. Here are some pictures of the camping trip.

Since the trip I have put on a set of BFG 33" mud terrains, dual 40 series flows, replaced a bunch of wiring, painted the entire Scout olive drab, removed the top, removed the driver side tank and cleaned it and painted it (awaiting new filler neck), removed the stock steering wheel and I am putting in a tilt column out of a Chevy van. I also am putting in a saginaw box from a camaro. Here are the most current photos:
