Jan 31 Snow Run

Sounds good to me, I would like to take the family with me. Just remember that if we go to the el dorado nat. Forest, you can only drive on paved / gravel roads. No dirt roads or open forest areas. It does not matter even if it's covered in 4 feet of snow. So maybe the tahoe nat, or stanislaus nat. Would be better.

Nope will be taking the tan pig. Radiator came in so it's ready to go. I plan to bring the family too, so there is more room in that one. Not sure on a location yet, but something fairly close since riding in the Scout isn't the same as riding in the suburban. Any suggestions?
 
We will have a wait a couple days to see where the snow level is. Iron mt. Is fine too
 
How about the eagle lakes turn off on 80, that puts us in the tahoe nat forest. There is an ohv area there. We could even stop by and say hi to Mike at shinneyboo. Not sure about sleding areas, but last time I just made some tracks up a small hill and that gave us two nice runs for the family to do some sleding. It's 72 miles from my house to the eagle lake exit, just ask aaa.:smilewinkgrin: so it's about the same distance once you add a few miles going up iron mt road.

Plus I want to check out the cabins for rent there, you know bonus points with the wife:winky:

Had a blast. Lot of trails to go down. The water hole had 4" of ice on it in the morning, after about a dozen crossing the hole was getting deep.

How does Sunday look for you? I'm coaching my daughter's bball team so saturdays are screwed since the games are at 1:00. I'm also free the first and third Friday of every month for the next 18 months. Thanks arnold.
 
I need my yard mowed on fridays since your free.:dita:

Sunday is good for me, as sat. Is pinewood derby races. Hopefully everone will be heathy in 4 days.
