Sweet. Nice car porn. Thing has braces for a front grill. Lol. Body looks fairly straight. Now, don't go be acting like a kid in a candy store trying to become speed racer. Is it the 152 or 196? You have enough parts laying around to add the missing 4 cylinders. After that, you won't need a stereo, cause you would have four speaker on left and 4 on the right.

Thanks scooter. Intake is aluminum so im saying 152. I dont want it to go fast. Or be really loud. I just wanna putter around in it. Its got two spots of rust. Never had that little ammount of rust before. So ill just clean it up. Rebuild the 152. Have the interrior redone. And drive it.

Yeah...that grille is ugly as mud...however it appears to have saved my beloved expanded metal and gold IH logo grille lol. It needs new door handles. New rear glass. I left the windows down last night so the cats would finish off the mice.

Ill replace the distrib and coil today with an elec ignition system and see how it runs then. Shes ugly now. But boy. With an overdrive and that massive 3 speed ill be going by so fast you wont have time to notice the bad spots lol

You kidding me? I got 4 angry beavers under the hood of this baby. 98+ hp. Thats right fool. This things a monster.

:ciappa: come on man, don't be a hater :dita: only kidding around. But if ya ever need the other 4 poppers to match, I got 'em here on a stand

Pulled the distrib Sunday. Seemed in good shape so I threw in a new set of points. New condenser. Newish coil. And she fired right up. Its got other issues ill deal with. But for now it runs. So....woot woot. Now onto the clutch and brakes

Looks like a clean start. Do you have any more pics of the interior? The head liner lookin stuff mostly, I havent seen that in a Scout 80-800 but then again I am new to these.

Ill post some up tomorrow. Im assuming its something the p.o. Had installed. Its very cushy vinyl. When I take the top off ill know for shure. Whatever it is someone did a fine job with it. Ill probably have it redone then have the seats done in the same brown with them fancy IH logos.

It looks like they did a good job. I think that would make the ride sound a little better and keep the inside less damp. Here in oregon water finds its way to the inside and lingers on the roof. A good head liner would help with that I think.

Heres some interrior pics. Sorry it took so long. Power went out in mi casa and one of the generators that powers my house in outages didnt kick in...so had to buy a new unit...luckily my badass old IH fridge kept all the maple syrup cold and saved all the wild game meats.

Anyways as you can see I had to rip out all the carpet. Carpet in scouts grosses me out. If you dont take the time to seal the floor you just trap moisture in during the rainy season and during our bizarre winters.

Then you end up with rusty crappy scouts :nono:

someone did seal the rockers and fenders 5 or 6 times to stop the magchloride from destroying it within the week

but heres the piccys. Not much to look at. Looks like the side panels were wrapped. And the top was done in a plywood and vinyl wrap. I sure as hell dont wanna try and lift this monster

The inside looks like it probably look really nice new. I bet that top is heavy now. Lots of work, but nice out come. Thank you for the photos.

There sure are a lot of gear shift levers.

Am I correct in assuming it has a warn od in there?

Nice porn!

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate the nod of approval. It needs lots of love. But its effing cold right now. And I know it needs engine work.

Im leery of posting the price I paid on here. Dont want to get shot lol
