Re: Introductions

Hi every one.
Well about a month a go I got a 1965 Scout. I live in santa rosa, and I am in the coast guard and I figured I would try and get as much local help as I could with my Scout before I have to move on to another unit in about a year and a half now.

Re: Introductions

Hey all-

I live in fremont but my current binder isn't a trail rig (see sig line). Would like to find a fair 4 cyl Scout for light wheeling when I can afford it.

I'll keep track of the work days/dinners so if I can help out, I will.

Re: Introductions

Hi ray,

I think I have seen your IH running around town a couple of times.
I live in irvington district. Where are you?

Re: Introductions

Hey moose!

My 'binder came from up by cobb and I drove it home pretty much as bought. Across 175/29/128/80/880 to fremont. No rear brakes (it had fluid in the mc), one front shock not connected and a hole in the other from a sparkplug btwn shock and frame!:icon_redface:

I live up by fremont/central area but I work down by automall/grimmer. I was driving it as a dd until I lunched my back last year.

Oo wasn't too bad on it but po (2nd) was rough on her. Tried to make a 'kid kar' for his teenager out of it. Still hoping to get her to a better shape. I do have the original LST and owners manual for her.

I've noticed a few 'binders in our area and recently (last year) one was sold/traded/??? Near delaware street in your neck of the woods. 4wd shortbed d series, iirc. It was there one day, gone the next.

Take care and let me know about work days.

Ray

Re: Introductions

Hi I'm bill, not an off-roader but I have this '67 1100b Travelall 2wd. I found it sitting under a tree up near Auburn, CA (it had been sitting there for 11 years). A little time and effort got it running and driving again. Eventually I plan a full body off resto on it but for now it's my parts hauler/camper. Pics are as found and after cleaning.
