Hi dick,

hope all is well. Just bought a f350 with the International 7.3 powerstroke motor in it. Do you offer a 15-40 that meets the requirments of this motor? It has 170k on the odometer and am looking to get at least another 200k out of it. Also I have been reading on some diesel forums that some places offer engine oil analysis do you have a contact for this? Thanks in advance!

sorry to get back to you so late, but we were on vacation and just returned late today. (April 12th) I had over 410 emails in my in-box even tho I had asked people not to send any "forwards", there were still plenty of them!

Yes, our swepco supreme formula 306 - 15w40 engine oil meets and exceeds the specification for the 7.3 powerstroke diesel engine you referred to. We also have an excellent oil analysis program, the sample kits are $13.50 which in clude the testing and full reporting....postage/ups/fedex charges are born by the sender (you). Contact me by pm for full information.

Jeff stocks the 15w40 you require.

Most of my fleet customers who use these trucks change their oil filters at 7,500 miles, and the oil & filter at 15,000 miles. Without using oil analysis.

If you have an automatic transmission, it is the Ford e-40d, which is notoriously troublesome. Our 714-20 atf works very well in them as well. (also stocked by Jeff)

I was wondering if some of the oil Jeff ordered was for you. I'll be delivering it to him on Thursday.

Getting back to the tranny - some of the manuals called for gear oil, others called for atf, in either case we have the proper oil for the best protection, and Jeff, co-incidently stocks both of them.
