My wife dug this rig up on gl. She had wanted one of these as long as we have been married. So she picked up a 67 800 4cyl tera. I started tearing into the rig and found some problems
asif a 67 would be in perfect working order for under a grand
this is my first binder, and this has been a fun build
.....so far.
I scored a pair of scoutii axles on gl. Open knuckle disc brakes were my first choice. Though I expected a more "bolt in" assy
so up front im running a SUA, I was told by the guy who I picked up the axles and a bunch of leaf springs. The fronts are 4" lift springs. And I did a SOA in the rear. I also decided to do shackle reversal while I was doing the work.
The bed was rotted out, I had an old Jeep pu bed laying around that I used for a new bed.
My wife picked the colors for the rig. I painted the top yesterday (dark ebony teal). It looks black in low light, and a dark green in the light.
Theres a ton of other work I have done latly. But here is some pics
this is how I got it...
