I'm from the Uk and desperately trying to trace info on my 1972 White Travelall VIN B17007H312200

Hi all, first post here so apologies as I've just spent an age onto Cali DMV trying to find clues as to where my vehicle is from or where it spent its last years before me.

So far I know its LST but this just shows shipped to IHC San Leandro via Salt Lake City Railhead, from there I can't trace it but it has a key fob for Jims Paint and autobody in Meridian Idaho with the keys, Cali DMv confirmed it went to Norcal around 2018 but can't say exactly where. I have a few boxes of spares for a private address in Santa Rosa

Can anyone think of any other clues I can ask to help me trace any info or old photos of it?

I've even tried the name on the box in Santa Rosa on Facebook but no reply to the messages

Any ideas would be amazing

I also know it went via an auction house called IAAI in East Bay where it was sold in Dec 2025 to then finally arrive in the UK where I bought it
