IHSTO Website Update

The IHSTO website (http://www.IHSTo_Org) has just completed phase I of the redesign.

The basics of the site have been built and the rest will be completed in additional phases.

The new site requires a browser that has ie 7, 8 or mozilla firefox, or any modern browser. Old ie 6 won't work and you will find yourself on the old site.

The old site is still intact and can be reached from the new webpage or by going to IHSTO main page

Have fun and I hope it doesn't break.

The new face of IHSTO has been in the pipeline for quite awhile. Our club web presence due to the efforts of chris (aided by amber I'm sure!) has been dynamic since the beginning.

More than a year ago several folks chewed the fat about what "could" be with some effort on the part of a web dude who does web schnizz for a living. But where's the beans to do this stuff come from since we got no IHSTO income stream (and intend to keep it that way!).

Well hail...ya just lean on drew. Since he was an IH noob at the time, he'd do anything so folks would play nice in his sandbox. The results a year later went live just a few minutes ago!!!!!

And drew still ain't got nuthin' IH that's a driver. Guess now I gotta give tha bubba sum payback and go up and fix them roundbody brakes???

The fresh web pages far exceed what I ever thought we would end up with...and this is just the start!

We all owe drew bigtime..this level of expertise don't come cheep...but he keeps tellin' us he ate the invoice!

Mike isn't the only one who owes drew for his efforts above and beyond......

We need to schedule a work party at drew's house and give him some much deserved help with his projects. I know he has put off working on them to work on the website.

Thanks, drew, the new site looks great!

Lyle

The new Site is super!
if a work party is onna day I ain't hav'in to work, I can come and help on whatever the chore May be.

Nice work!!

I feel like I was only a web site squater for the last few year, waiting until someone came along that could make a 'real' website for the club.

I originally bought the website name "IHSTo_Org" after I found out that our 'pal' steven beals of scoutparts.ripoff.com had already bought up most combinations of our club name for himself...

I later found a few minutes to make a website to hold our place in the internet and keep some basic stuff. It grew from there, and then drew came along and really made it zip!!!

Thanks again drew. You rock!!!

And as of yesterday chris, the club now owns all the domains that have anything to do with "Binder Bee"!

If you hadn't done whatcha did...right now we'd be in website hell no doubt due to the predatory actions of a few folks!!!

We all owe a big thank you to you and amber for moving us onto the web and saving our domain for posterity!

What chris thinks of his role as just a small thing and not that great is very humbling. The IHSTo_Org domain purchase was very good when you did it and that you did it for the club with your own money and kept the website going with your own money for a long time says much about the mettle in IHSTO and in chris and amber.

The IHSTO website you created is awesome. And that you did it as a side project blows me away. I get paid to develop programs and I am expected to create websites or programs at a high level. I feel what you did is far beyond what I have done and we at IHSTO owe you a huge amount of gratitude for the pioneering work you did and the efforts to secure a digital landscape for IHSTO. I just did what I do every day.

Thanks chris! If it wasn't for you IHSTO would not have been what it is now. Don't downplay the importance of the IHSTO site to the current health of IHSTO. Imho.
