Some of you folks May know that Mike fiock/mr. Scout is in the process of moving his operation to a new location between veneta and elmira, about 12 miles west of eugene off hiway 126.

Mike needs help this coming Saturday, sept. 26 with packing much stuff and then transporting the tubs/crates. Wes has been working with Mike constructing crates mounted on pallets, those need to be filled and then loaded.

We're asking any of the IHSTO crew who can spare a few hours to come help out at the "old" mr. Scout location at:

2440 hiway 99 north (a few blocks south of where beltline hiway crosses 99)
eugene, or

at 9am on Saturday.

Mike has given much to the IH community, is a charter sponsor of the Great Western Binder Bee, and has certainly done his share for IHSTO. Let's turn out and give him something back!

Ihon enjoys an excellent business relationship with mr. Scout and fully endorses this plea!
 
I wish I could make it, I bet there is stuff stored in the back of that building that hasn't seen the light of day in years. It would be kinda of like touring hangar 18. :yikes:

I talked to katy and looks like I have been released to help Mike. Although I can't leave here till 9:00 am and I have to be back here around 4:00 pm.
 
I can't make it but I do have a flatbed trailer if someone want's to tow it down for the move. Not sure if that would help out or not?
 
Thanks to all who showed up, much was accomplished though I had to leave after only a few hours due to a prior commitment.

What a massive undertaking!

Mike needs to be out of the building by Wednesday nite, sept. 30, so if anyone else is in the area in the next few days and can lend a hand, the process is continuing!
 
I didn't make it either. Jack ended up going to the emergency room on Saturday and stayed the night at the hospital. Turns out bronchitis and asthma don't play well together.
