IHPA 25gal Gas Tank Install

Got my new tank sitting in the garage, hopefully ready to install in the next week or so. Just curious if there are any instructions or guidance for the install. didnt know if it bolts into factory holes in the frame and I havent crawled under to take a look yet.

Hey Jeff, Do all tabs go under the crossmembers or does one set sit above? I am just getting things mocked into place before I install the pump and sender, just want to make sure I dont smash anything up top.
 
Please post pictures of the tank you received, some mount on top of the front cross-member and some mount on the bottom, need to see which one you got.
 
Currently have it with the rear most tabs on top of the crossmember, but this was just to mock up. Not sure if these pics give you enough to go off of.

We’ve recently switched manufacturers for this tank. The one you have resembles an older in-house model, but it’s hard to confirm. Our original tanks mounted on the bottom of the cross-members, and we also had some powder-coated ones that did the same. Tanks with the CPT logo on the bottom of the tank have front tabs that sit on top of the cross-member and rear tabs that mount underneath. Ultimately, as long as everything fits, the specifics aren’t crucial. We were just trying to make it fit better for sagging body mount Scout II's.
 
Thanks for the info, I'll play around with the fit. This thing was SOOOOOO EASY to install with the tabs and not messing with the straps. It was actually pretty well ballanced and I think it took all of about 3min to bolt it in place by myself. Kudos to the design on that!
