IHCS Rides The "Cool Bus"

Hi. First post. I will be watching this auction. Such a cool bit of history following this rig. I am a 50's IH pickup enthusiast and only about 50 miles from silverton. I currently can't really afford to buy it but feel the need to at least try.

Welcome to the forum. Have you made it to any of our IHSTO club meetings yet? You are close enough that you should come.
Good luck with bidding. I would love to see this rig stay close to it's history.

Yes I made it down to the gathering in salem last summer. I remember seeing the bus there. I was tied up this year though. Could not make it. Next summer my '54 should be on the road and I will be making more of the gatherings hopefully.

I hope that someone buys the cool bus to preserve the history. It is absolutely necessary that it stays alive. Plus, they should not have closed the school. Think of the history and the families started out over the generations in that building. I hope the kids don't end up in some big-city school. I was fortunate to have grown up in a small-school environment in the early days of my life.

One last look at the cool bus as it makes its way to stillwater, mn. Sad to see it go. But nice to have it gone.
