Hello again! Im looking to get pricing on an engine overhaul. Anyone know of a mechanic they would recommend over near DC/MD/VA? Its a 304 with 28k on it. Just been sitting for 40 years. I got it running, I just want to replace gaskets and clean it up to make sure it stays running. Thanks!
 
Check out Facebook - "old Line State Binders". There's a bunch of guys in your area. I'm on the Eastern Shore or I'd offer to help.
 
Eastern shore of what codeman? long island? I am looking for a mechanic myself who better understands international. I got a 304 as well from a 67 1200B.

Nope, Eastern Shore of Maryland, near Salisbury. Where you be at????
 
NJ. Tri State Area. I have come up 0 for any decent mechnic who knows how to handle older stuff. Willing to even pay more, but just proving tough. I can only do so much on my own vehicles.

GaryRI on binderplanet is that way and having his scout built up right now by a mechanic for wiring etc. Maybe search him out.
