Christmas is just around the corner and I'd like to start a Christmas for all fund for the IH community. I have been helped before by the IH community for medical transportation and expenses for my wife during some major surgery. It made a huge difference and I'd like to return the favor and make sure everyone is covered for this Christmas again like the IH Christmas for all we did in 2007.

Anyone can donate, I'd like to have an independent third party hold and disperse the money or products, recipients can be keep anonymous if they choose and anyone can submit a name. My wish is no one would need help but in these tough economic times I doubt we could be so lucky. If so money will be donated to a food bank.

I will ask for two others to participate as board members to make decisions behind the scenes.

So if we can do this I will pledge the first $50. To the account until we can get a independent third party to handle the donations.

Edit: I have found a independent third party to hold the donations and make the disbursements near Christmas time. His name is arnie tyler. Founder of just internationals, a captain in the navy and my best friend. So make all IH Christmas for all donations to his paypal account at atyleratglobalind.com

If anyone is willing to step up to help Mark handle the funds and help make decisions please either post up or private message Mark. Lets get an early start and make an impact in someones life. We know times are tough so any little that you can donate will help. Anyone who donates will get their name tossed in a hat. I'll pick out winners probably right before Christmas. The more donations I see the more prizes I'll donate.

Great idea! Count me in for $50 to help someone out. Let me know how (paypal, check, etc) and where to send it and I'll have it on the way.

We're in for $25...our food stamps ain't kicked in yet. We'll have a check for the kitty at the rallye.
 
Wow this is going great guys. Thanks for your support, I know we will make someones Christmas this year one to remember!

When I find an accountant other than myself I will let you know how/where to deposit and in the ens dispurse the prizes and money!

If you know someone in the IH community who May need help let me know by pm. If they don't want to be named here publicly that's ok we will send them a Christmas gift anonymously! :d

anyone that would like to work with me on the decisions let me know! I need a couple people to work with on who's Christmas we will help. And if it's anonymous I would like the same people to verify the donations were made appropriately. Thanks! :d

Getting close to Christmas and wishing every one well! One last chance to donate to the fund. We still need some nominations of our fellow brothers in IH who could use a blessing!
 
Hopefully it isn't too late. I only noticed the thread today. I just sent $20 to the pot at the paypal account. I know it isn't much maybe next year I can do more but glad to do something.

I just posted on the just internationals website about the IH Christmas for all so let's sway a day or two.

Spread the words to all club leaders we are looking for some IH bros and sisters to bless this Christmas. Some people May not want to accept in public and I can understand. With your president backing you no problems. We want to help our own!!! But transparent enough that everyone is happy!
 
Ok I still have no nominations for us to help this year. I wish this was true but I know with this economy someone needs some help? So there's no need to rush as Christmas is 2 days away... I also have a problem with the accounting as I have lost touch with arnie who's paypal we have been depositing to. He is in the philippines and from what the news said most of the country is being evacuated do to a volcano ready to erupt. Hope he is doing ok!!!

So as of now we do not have a complete list of contributors to award prizes to...
