This week in preparation for the reassembly of an NON IH vehicle and it's engine, I went out to unclutter my shop. I ended up with one grinder stand that was to short and unstable and two serviceable big 6 3/4 ton rear drums because they were supposedly unobtanium. The 68 Travelette is long gone now and after tripping over them for several years, they were destined for the curb. Then I had this grinder stand that was in the same boat. Love at first sight, one of the drums found its way under the stand. 10 minutes, 4 rosette welds with the MIG, and one drum and one grinder stand were married in the shop, and happy ever after. The one leftover drum is a keeper.
