Hey guys: I have an IH 304 e for free if someone would like to come and pick it up. I don't know the history of this engine but it's complete. It has the starter, alternator, prestolite electronic distributer, Holley 2245 carb, fan and fan clutch, both exhaust manifolds and flywheel flex plate for auto trans. This engine came with my 74 Scout II but the po had no idea what condition or where it came from? I haven't tried to turn it over and would highly recommend the pre oiling process listed here. Another member on here May need it. Not sure yet how bad the damage is in his current motor. But if all your's needs is just a freshen up of seals and gaskets then it might be worth it.
 
I have a some what of a portable engine hoist here in my shop space that I hardly ever use that you can borrow if need be.
 
Ronbgone; kelseyville is in lake county between lakeport and clearlake. I told scooter in an email that I don't have any way to load the engine at this time. He said he had a hoist in his shop but doesn't have transportation at this time. I might be able to borrow a hoist to load it if you guys figure out the transportation dilemma. Thanks, Danny
 
Well tomorrow is the big day. Scooter with my self assisting will begin to install this motor. A magical day indeed.
