I'm having problems with my power steering . First thing I checked was these forums and found a lot of useful info but nothing about the steering "rag" joint in front of the gear box , which turned out to be stripped out , giving me tons of slop in my steering . So I replaced that and now my power steering pump started whining and every time I turn right all the fluid comes out of the top of the resivour and I mean all the fluid :nonod: so what could be the problem ? After the fluid came out I topped it of and did all the steps the mr mayben had laid out for getting the air out of the system . But every time I turn right the fluid comes gushing out the cap !!!! Not to get off the pump issue but is this a stock gear box for 73 Scout ll ? If not I noticed the the gear box shaft that connects to the pitman arm seem's to be longer than a oem one , is it ? And if so will I need a drop pitman arm for a 4'lift with this set up ?
