id question

I have a 77 Scout with a 4 speed manual, I was just wandering where to look to find out what kind of transmission it is. Thanks

What "id" are you looking for?

It was made by warner...

Two versions -- wide ratio (granny low) or close ratio

if it is "wound out" at around 15 - 20mph in first; it should be a wide ratio (6.3 first gear).

How do I tell what model it is t-19 or 18?

Based on the year of your Scout, it should be a t-19 (sychromesh 1st gear)...
