I680 treat

It is seldom you see any '60's vintage scouts on the freeway anymore. The folks commuting on the 680 corridor on Tuesday November 1st got to see two at once. I was driving my '69 Scout 800B, while towing my '65 Scout 80 from san ramon to concord. Did it right to, put on lights and didn't even get drunk until after!

Hey...I think I saw the forward Scout on 580 heading west in the early evening a few weeks back. I was in the 1/2 orange Scout II. You waved...good looking Scout.

Mine is (finally) now all orange (well, except for the roof hanging in the garage)....just put the last coat of clear on last night. Now let the sanding begin (again).

Yeah I remember seeing you, always great to catch another Scout guy on the road. Don't get that paint too fine, remember scouts were made for off road. Don't let nice paint keep you out of the cuts.
