hysteer...please educate me

considering having a SOA done as part of suspension work. i say considering because the alternative would be to stay SUA with an RS and upgrading to the skyjacker 4" kit (currently have an rc 4" kit).

question, what is the objective of the hysteer kit? is it a requirement with a SOA?

Hi,

When you preform a SOA conversion, a hy-steer kit is required in order to have proper steering geometry. Some people may say it isn't and run a Z-Bar draglink, however this results in crude handling and bump steer.

A spring over with 4" springs will be very tall.

thanks Zaedster, that helps. i wasn't planning to use the 4" springs with a SOA. if i do the conversion, i will use the oem springs you guys supply.

right now, i'm leaning towards staying SUA with the skyjacker kit and RS and cut and turn. of course, all materials sourced from you guys :)

You Can Still buy oem spring packs with oem spring rate from any real spring shop that either builds their own springs or can order in the set.
