HOLLISTER / MARCH 22-24 / 18th ANNUAL

Packing this morning . Plan on getting there about same time as soontobe .for the new comers welcom  the ranger station is a ways past the big barn that says welcome to hollister hills on the side on ceniga road . The ranger station is at the lower ranch (the motorcycle park) you will check in there & pay entrance fee $5 dollars per car per day . Tell them you are going to the upper ranch (4wd park) they will give you the gate combo . You will head back on ceniga rd. Past area 5 to the school house on the right . Open the gate there . Head up the dirt road . I belive its the first y to the left this heads into sycmore camp we will have the babs banner up there . We should be right in the middle of the camp ground . Trailers can come right into camp . :icon_lol::thumbsup:

Its looking like jaysons not going to make it this time. But I'm still coming! I should be there sometime tomorrow morning/afternoon.

My thanks to the babs guys for a great time! And for lunch :yesnod: I had a great time, despite the 4hr drive to get home!

My thanks to rob for the use of his spare tent. I somehow left mine at home.

The first picture is of the 3 rigs that ran tank trap. If someone could help me with names and screen names I'd appreciate it.

Made it home on the shortened drive shaft. Didn't notice any vibrations, actually feels better than before. Thanks again to all who helped out. The black tshirt with the white Scout came from Bronco designs on ebay, foothill off road also on ebay, has Scout shirts too. Looking for some Dana 30 driver side front axle shafts, probably both long and stub - definitely long inner.

Here's another picture. Very cool!

Had a great time in hollister! Thanks to babs for putting everything together and having us. Had a good time wheeling and meeting everyone. Thanks to rob for the reusable fuel filter. Glad hondo made it home ok. My girlfriend seemed to have lost her camera, so if anyone found it or finds it, please post up. She had lots of good pics on it. It's a red camera in a blue case and she thinks May have left it in a chair pocket. Will post pics if/when we find the camera.

Had to take a die ginder to the u-joint ears to get the inner axle out. Uhhh... Think this kind of damage May be why the operator manuals have the note "to avoid excessive torque on the rear axle, do not drive vehicle in low range of transfer case with locking hubs in "free" position." think driving it in low range with a front locker and no rear drive shaft is even worse.
