holley 2300 carb list 2977 fs

Im new to this board but I do have 2 IH a 47 1/2t and a 48 3/4t pu's but I saw this post and didnt know what to do with this carb that was in the big box of stuff I got with my trucks as im not running an IH motor im going to be running a 555ci Chevy rat (sorry) but I have a Holley 2300 carb list-2977 and didnt know if it would be any good to someone restoring an IH I know the carb works as I put it on my Ford 2.3l race car just to check it worked good just not big enuf I run a modded 500cfm on it
