Holley 2210 Carb Adjustment Question

Hey y'all!

I'm am attempting my first rebuild of the Holley 2210 on my 73 Scout II. It has a 345 and the carb looks like it's List 6443. I'm on the accelerator-pump adjustment part of the rebuild. I have the pump link back in slot 2, which is where it was when I took it apart, and also matches the chart that came with the rebuild kit.

Where I'm getting hung up is on how the pump adjustment is supposed to be measured. In the manual, it says to measure from the top of the air horn to the top of the plunger shaft, and that should be .700". On the rebuild sheet that came with the kit, it looks like I'm supposed to take the difference from the top of the pump stem to the bowl cover and that the difference between wide open throttle and closed throttle should be 45/64" which is also ~.7. Obviously the measurements are going to be different, but neither are close to .7.

I was hoping to get some clarification before I start bending the pump rod, so any help would be appreciated. Below are the references I'm referring to, just in case I'm not looking at it correctly.

Thanks in advance for any help!
