Hey Doc, a marine question

Yo ho and avast ye land lubbers!
I've got a marine rated question in regards to the old boat that I'm trying to get going.
Is there such a thing as "marine rated" heater hose? I know about marine rated fuel line (replaced that) and marine plywood (I'll get to that).
Are there any safety or coast guard issues with using plane jane automotive hose on my boat's cooling system?

I've heard good things about green stripe. Not specific to marine applications but worth a look.

Sorry moose, I haven't been checking in.
No there are no coast guard regs regarding heater hose. As mentioned, 'green stripe' is much better quality.

Not really. My mercruiser expert has moved. The boat business is in the dumps with shops and sales closing all over.
