help with 74 Scout II

I recently bought a 1974 IH Scout II. It has the original 4.2l, 258 inline 6....I knew it needed some work when I bought it and im having the hardest time finding a power steering pump bracket for it. After much work, we discovered it had a fuel pump from a Travelall in it, rebuilt it and still didnt work....so we want to put an aftermarketpump in there but work with the bracket that fits the inline 6.....anyone? Buehler?

You're in luck. I was just going through my stash of parts for someone else for the same parts search. Luckily I have two sets of all the brackets needed for ps pump. I don't think I will ever get to running a 258 any time soon. I rather see these parts go to people who need them them than sitting here on my shelf collecting dust. I should even have a fuel pump or two laying around
 
That is great news! Any chance you could send a photo or two? As you can imagine, I have gone through a few brackets that I thought were going to fit. Is it appropriate to exchange emails? Is that against forum rules? Thanks again, you made my morning!
 
Glad I made some one's day. I have photos of them on my home computer. But I did post up photos over on binder planet for another person looking for the same brackets. 258 ps pump brackets . There is one shot of the pump and brackets actually mounted on the 258 that I was running when I pulled it out.

Luckily I have two sets of these brackets. If need be, I can post up more when I get home. Along with checking on the mechanical fuel pump that I was using on the 258. You can shoot me an email - scouter4x4@comcast.net
