Good muffler shop in Fremont area

Years ago it used to be al's muffler in fremont. Need to get new exhaust in my Scout. Its a 75 with a 258. I added a header with two collectors. Got it rigged now to the old exhaust with some flex pipes and about 10 clamps. Anyone have experience with a decent shop in the area where they keep things tucked up high, and won't take a torch to anything thats in the way (like seat mounting bolts etc).

Not quite fremont, but I've heard good things about babes & lightning muffler In san jose.

Welcome to the forum. Stick around and things will be learned through out. Future refference, you could started a new thread of similar title, or what ever tech advice you are seaking.

I'm in the east bay and May know some one who does some body and paint. But rumor has it that he's at a point where he May not do much more body/paint repair. I am more of the mechanical side of things with these old rigs

Exhaust works in belmont right across the bridge. Excellent spot.

Speaking of exhaust. Lol. I am about to completely replace mine. I just recently purchased a set of stan's try-y headers and will be needing the rest of the system soon enough. I'm seriousely considering doing it my own self. Just ordering the mufflers and the plumbing and weld away.
