going to sell my engine

Its finally time I was drag racing a few weeks ago and destroyed a rear end and tossed the driveline. I replaced the rear end housing and driveline but every since then the trans was making noises and vibrating. Now its slipping between 2nd and 3rd. So I'm not sure what it is worth but I know its only worth what someone will pay. It is an ic 392 balanced and blueprinted with about 95k on it, CPT intake, stans tri-y headers , edelbrock 800 cfm carb, schneider cam and springs +, some port done on the intake side and ignition system. I'm sure there's more but can't remember right now life has been way hectic. The trans has a bolt in rear sprag, five pinion steel planetary, a 2800 stall converter, and a banging shift kit. We are leaving in the morning for hot August nights so I will be out of touch till Monday then we can all talk and decide what its worth. Let me know what you guys think I know I have way more invested than I will ever get out of it but I have had tons of fun spanking on other cars off of stop lights. I am moving to fuel injection and will be hopefully ready to pull in about two weeks or so. Ed

I tried Holley pro-jection on it once but the over lap on the cam was too much for it. Now I run an 800 cfm edelbrock on it which I had to jet richer for the cam and intake. I have ran quarter mile with it and for such a heavy truck it still ran a 15.9 I have not sold it yet not even sure what to ask for it but planning on pulling it on labor day weekend. It's been suggested to take it to dobbins and just auction it off. Ed

I'm interested, is the trans a stock three speed? Does the 392 have a stock intake? I'm interested in the whole assembly, I'm in the bay area, free most evenings. I'm looking for a base block with some features that I can rebuild into a fuel injection set up while I'm driving my current stick rig. Pm me and we can go from there. I hope hot August nights was fun, I was in mi at the woodward dream cruise.

Well its official the swap has began and doc says this was the quickest ever he pulled an engine. The one going in wont be near as much fun as the one that came out but time for a change
