Howdy, I found some 63" Chevy springs for the rear of my traveler and some 54" for the front. My question for you folks is: do you make a shackle reversal kit for 2.5 inch springs?

Yes and no. We do sell the kit for 2.5" wide springs but I am waiting on a fresh batch of 'fangs'. Hope to have them in the next week or two.

Yep, he's had them for some time. My set was one of the prototypes.

What springs are you going to use? I ended up with the rancho 44044 in the front. Looks like these would work perfect as you need to push the mounting point out past the stock location because the springs are a few inches longer then stock Scout springs.

Rotated your pic for the visually impaired.

This is a slightly better picture with the spring mounted. It shows how much longer my springs actually are. I am going on memory here but I think they were the 44084's, look up a 3/4 ton Chevy and thats what they are. 48" long. You can see how far forward I moved them, also when doing a reverse shackle using stock springs you cut roughly half of that oval hole out of the frame to weld in the sleeve. As you can tell mine is a couple of inches further aft.

hey now. Posting pictues like these is not fair! Your junk looks way to nice. I've been wanting to copy your valve covers since I saw them last year at the ralley:smilewinkgrin:
I went with the 44044 as they have an offset center pin. Since my tie rod is behind the pumpkin, I had to push the axle forward so the tierod would clear the oil pan.

Now that I see those bilstiens 7100, I'm not talking to your anymore:dita:

nice build.

No coping allowed!!!! I have been wanting to do a set like that for years, and no need to get super jealous they are only the 5150's. Jeff has the 7100's in the rear of his, I couldn't justify the $$$$$$, I got a smokin deal on these so I'm happy.
