Depends if your 1100 was factory 4x4 or 4x2. If it was factory 4x2, the rear spring hangers are in the correct spot to use the GM spring if you want to go cheap and do homemade spring bushings to use the factory IH shouldered bolts on the existing hangers. If you are 4x4, you need to move the spring hanger to the rear location. Plenty of people use the stock stuff, but it depends how much care you have in doing it right versus making it work.
