I searched and found that they are a problem but couldn't find anything bout fixing them.
Anyways, some of the pins are loose on my speedo circuirt board causing intermit problems with the speedo lights and the front axle engaged and brake light indicators. Anyway to tighten these? Can you buy new pins? Is there a tool to install em?
Thanks

The pins were pressed in at the factory. No easy way to re-squish them. Best thing would be to try to solder the pins back down to the copper traces. You'll need to clean all of the corrosion off them with some contact cleaner. Don't use brake cleaner. Alcohol might work. Use a tooth brush. Get some solder on your iron to "tin" the tip. This will help it flow without lingering on the pin. You might melt something with too much heat. Solder is a crappy mechanical joint. Plus, its super easy to pull the copper off the board. So don't twist or exercise the pins when you're done.
Another option is to solder the wires directly to the board. If the pins are just spinning in the holes, this might be the only move. Lots more work, and you'll need the manual or meticulous notes.
Or put out some feelers for a new speedo cluster.

Turns out being a slot tech for 35 years made my father in law a pretty good solderer :winky: gauges all cleaned up, painted pods with chrome paint, buffed lenses. All indicators and lights and everything works! Woohoo
