Gas Tank Repair

Got a 1964 c-1100 travelette. Passenger side gas tank is the only one left in the vehicle and it won't flow gas. I believe the pickup tube (with the sock filter?) is plugged.

I have attempted to remove tube by de-soldering around the mount to no avail. How does this thing come out???

I did find a 2009 post here on this forum where michael mayben had a refurbished tube for sale so I know they are removeable!

So...must I split this tank in half to repair, or can I get this silly tube out of there????

Got pointed in right direction and was able to remove it!! Now to clean up, put back together, reinstall, put tank back in vehicle and drive drive drive this crochety old girl.
