Garage Height

My new garage opening is 75". I May be able to fudge an inch or two by playing with the garage door. My current garage is 79" and the Scout just barely clears.

Question is:

how many inches can I decrease the 35" tires by airing them down?

Or should I just swap on the old rollers to get it in.

Thanks guys.

Found an article that claims 90% rim height at 15psi. Guess that would bring me down 3.5"/2 or 1.75". Guess ill measure the new door while pushing up on it and see if I can get 2.5" our of it. Good thing I saved my rollers. Looks like I'm going to need them.

Bummer the height is so low. Let out the air to about 10 psi and see what that gets you. I've gone down to 4 psi and the tires are pretty much like tank tracks by then. Then you run the risk of the tire coming off the bead.

I have a sawzall, several bfh, and crow bars. I can come down and help with some demolition. :icon_lol:
