Fuel gauge sending unit

I have a 73 scoutii with a 30+ gallon aftermarket tank in it. The sending unit is no longer working so it needs to be replaced. My question is will the sending unit for a 19 gal tank give an accurate reading? I have looked for the sending unit without luck as it also has the fuel pickup tube built into it like the IH part#402522c2 for a 19 gal tank. The ones for the 33 gal tanks do not have a fuel pickup tube. I just wanted to find out before I went thru the expense and time putting in the wrong one

The 19 gallon sender will not work. We can make you the correct fuel sender needed for your application. Best to call during business hours for pricing and ordering.
