Front sump to rear sump

I have a 345 engine from a '66 pickup that I want to install in my '49 kb pickup. I'd like to put in an ifs like a msii, but most of the articles that I've read so far always refer to a rear oil sump. My question is: did IH make a rear sump oil pan for a Scout that might replace the above pan (& oil pump)?
I see that speedway motors has a replacement (conversion) kit for a Ford engine (part#91006675) but I want to keep my IH as much IH as possible.
Or would it be better to have an ifs built lower to clear the front sump?
Has anyone had similar problems with ifs?
Thanks.

I have no information for you regarding the actual front suspension conversion for one of these vehicles.

However, there were "rear only" oil pans for these engines used in some medium duty applications, along with the "double hump" pan used in the Scout II 4x4.

Before I made some sort of commitment regarding an alternative oil pan, I'd certainly take some time to make definite measurements of the engine bay with the gross dimensions of the front suspension mocked up.
